Academics

Scholastics are taken very seriously by the brotherhood of Phi Kappa Tau. Our mission statement places learning only after brotherhood itself. Our Chapter currently has the third highest GPA of all Fraternities on campus with a 2.84. All potential new members of our brotherhood must have a GPA above a 2.5 to be considered by the chapter, upon accepting a bid they are to complete mandated library study hours that are facilitated by active brothers. All active brothers of the Delta Pi chapter must also complete study hours at the library, and maintain a positive GPA to participate in the chapter's social events.

School Comes First
Each brother came to college with the intention of graduating with a degree in four to five years. The Delta Pi Chapter utilizes our Scholarship Chairman, alongside our new member program, to instill positive study habits and to academically advising associates and active brothers to ensure that goal is being completed.

Academic Diversity
The Delta Pi chapter has brothers in a variety of academic programs at Murray State. Agriculture, Business, Marketing, Nursing, Liberal Arts, Creative Writing, Youth and Nonprofit Leadership and Recreation are all amongst active brother’s majors. This eclectic group of thought allows our chapter to become a intellectual resource on a large matter of subjects; we welcome any individual, with any major, to enter our rank.
